Royal Military Academy Barracks, Sandhurst
The project covered the heating, full ventilation, domestic water services, small power, lighting, fire alarms and security within the buildings, for use by the Royal Military Academy, along with reinforcement of the site’s medium pressure gas main. Four of the buildings involved were accommodation blocks, with the others being classrooms and offices. One of the buildings involved was the headquarters for this facility.
Duke of Edinburgh Barracks, Bordon
Upgrade of an existing building to provide a fully serviced vehicle workshop including track armoured vehicles. We were required to develop the vehicle exhaust system for modified Challenger II track vehicle.
Major refurbishment project embracing full mechanical and electrical services within a re-development project for the Ministry of Defence.
The project encapsulated;
- Upgrade of several barrack areas, including administration and mess areas, single living accommodation and MT workshops and stores.
- Upgrade of support regiment MT and general workshops, stores and administration area
- Upgrade of major full storage area in hangar accommodation
- Complete refurbishment of ABRO hangar type building for fuel tanker workshops; this including steam radiant heating and multi layer ventilation to cope with hazardous conditions.
Mechanical and electrical services were provided for the kitchen and storage areas including walk-in freezers, with the provision of administration, storage and full HVAC for the dining area.
Hyde Park Barracks, Knightsbridge
Upgrade of complete stable block and quarters for the Household Cavalry Mounted Division, including Rattle Accommodation in Hyde Park, which involved specialised water and manure removal system and full ventilation necessary to provide comfort conditioning to meet the needs of the horses in particular.
