Cellular Therapy Labs
This project involved alterations to the lower ground floor of the Royal Free Hospital to create new enhanced cellular therapeutic clean room laboratories for the UCL.
The works included the phased re-development and extension of the existing facility to provide a much larger fully compliant clean room facility. This entails VAV extract controlled pressure systems to the Class A, B, C and D labs. The system comprises a high degree of energy efficiency in the form of set back ventilation, whilst maintaining close control of the pressure cascades across the facility.
